Why do we employ Adults with Disabilities?

The employment rate for working-age people (ages 16-64) with disabilities is 38%, up from 30% in 2009, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. While the employment gap between people with and without disabilities is narrowing, it remains significant.*

Hiring people with disabilities can create a more inclusive and supportive work environment that leads to better teamwork, empathy, and morale

People with developmental disabilities often have lower absenteeism rates and demonstrate high work productivity.
